Airbnb has changed the way we holiday - but did you know they did luxury locations too? From weird and wonderful underground glamping to London's trendiest penthouse, here are the UK's best and wildest Airbnbs available right now.

When planning a trip away, choosing accommodation is often one of the most stressful parts - you're conscious about not overspending, which is hard not to when you have to go out for every meal. That's why Airbnb has taken off as it has and revolutionised the way we holiday. By staying somewhere with your own kitchen you don't have to go out for every meal anymore, and by bypassing hotels in general you tend to make a big saving.

Another top reason to go Airbnb is that since you're staying in someone's home, you no longer feel as though you're a tourist. Being tucked away in a residential area or a secret countryside escape gives you an element of status above the all-inclusive hotel goers as you live like a local and your holiday experience is inevitably more authentic.

But staying in homes doesn't have to be boring. The UK has so many hidden Airbnb gems to visit, from majestic luxury locations to rooms unexpected buildings (and in some cases, no building at all!). There are plenty of imaginative stays that think outside the box wich are guaranteed to make your next getaway one to remember.

Scroll through our top finds on Airbnb in the UK where you'll never get bored.
