The Best 2020 Concerts To Add To Your Diary If You Love Pop Music

If you're not already clued up about which of your favourite pop stars are gigging in the UK for 2020, then check it out here on Octer.

There's no better way to get your fix of seratonin than by seeing your favourite popstar or band at a concert. When hearing about your biggest hero coming to the stage, the suspense is high and the atmosphere electric! When buying tickets you have to wait 'till 00:00 on the dot to get in the online queue to make sure they don't sell out and then, when you finally get them, you normally have to wait for a good few months until you actually get to go to the gig. However, it's definitely totally worth it.

You can dance and sing your heart out all night long to your favourite songs as well as get to listen to new music from supporting bands and acts. Studies have shown that going to concerts is a great way to de-stress and boost your mood as your adrenaline goes up and your cortisol (stress hormone) goes down. It's also a great way to meet people as sharing the experience with a hall filled with like-minded people makes you forget about your British shyness and chat away to everyone around you.

There are plenty of concerts to look forward to in 2020 if you're a pop lover, from Harry Styles and Madonna to Taylor Swift! With technology evolving, concerts now have the best visuals and sounds systems making them all the more mind blowing and engaging. There's even a Whitney Houston Hologram tour celebrating all her best hits which tours the UK from February 27th to March 10th.

If you haven't had a chance to check out who's coming to play and when check out our top pop artists to look out for. And fear not. If the tickets are sold out on their website then get a Ticket Swap account and see if anyone's willing to sell their previously bought ticket to you.

Discover our top pop concerts of 2020 to add to your diary stat! See you on front row...

1. Lana Del Rey

Lana's 5th album has been described as "a lush tapestry of swoon-some sounds and killer wit from America’s most underrated songwriter" and we can't wait to hear her ethereal voice in person. She is also due to release a new album this year 'White Hot Fever' very soon after her 2019 release of 'Norman ****ing Rockwell!' so expect to hear new music too!

Plus he's due to be performing at a tonne of festivals again after his legendary Glasto performance in 2019. If you want some comedy as well as class music then make sure you get a ticket.

3. Madonna

Calling all divas, Madonna is back with her Madame X Tour. She may be 60 but she definitely does not look or act it. It's a great opportunity to see the legend sing some of her best hits but be warned she has cancelled a number of concerts so some fans are beginning to question whether she has the stamina to do as many shows as she has lined up.

The Jonas Brothers came back together in March 2019 with their hit 'Sucker' and now we're glad to hear they'll be touring the UK. The Jonas Brothers mean a lot to those who grew up in their Disney Channel days with their film Camp Rock being a childhood classic but aside from nostalgia their new music is very good and we are buzzing to see them live.

5. Queen with Adam Lambert

After the release of the Bohemian Rhapsody film in 2018 starring Rami Malek people have gone Queen mad which is why it's a godsend that the rest of the band are on tour this summer with Adam Lambert taking the role as lead singer. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Adam Lambert, he is the 2009 American pop idol winner and has since released many solo albums as well collaborating with Queen since 2014. Britain's biggest heartthrob Harry Styles has finally released an album after much anticipation and it's just as good as we expected it to be. Make sure you catch him on tour this year as he's a tricky person to pin down being the elusive character that he is and it might be a while until his next one. Plus you'll get to gaze at his handsome looks for at least an hour which is worth the ticket price in itself.

9. Elton John

Much like the mania that came with Bohemian Rhapsody for Queen, we have a revived love for old school Elton John thanks to the fantastical film Rocketman, starring Taron Egerton and Richard Madden. Now Elton is back on tour to grace the UK this fall with more of our favourite ever songs. With his level of star quality, this tour isn't one to miss.

10. Michael Bublé

With a voice that melts like butter, everyone's favourite Michael Bublé is back on tour in the UK. We love him for his Frank Sinatra-esque tone and his tear-jerking ballads that have become many couples' wedding song. Bublé doesn't need to dance or perform as his mere voice is enough and we can't wait to melt at it in person.
