This very stylish and desirable Royal Tuscan bone chine coffee pot with 8 associated demitasse cups (double expresso size 100 millilitres) and striking black (13 cm diameter) saucers was made in Stoke-on-Trent in the 1970s after the Tuscan factory was acquired by Royal Doulton. As the photographs show it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind; it is fully back stamped on each piece; comes complete with lid and with a very contemporary- restrained - black, white and gold linear band of patterning offset by the dramatic black saucers which provide a real visual impact to the set on any table or even commercial setting ( coffee shop etc). Any Google search will show that these desirable Mid Century Modern ceramics are often offered with items missing or damaged and as individual pieces at £8 and upwards - which would value the cups and saucers alone at £125 - and so it is with some confidence that I can assert that my price if £65 post free is a very competitive one indeed for a set which would make an impressive gift or simply a stylish way to serve coffee in an after dinner context.
