About me l used to have to travel to the far east quite frequently so I had plenty of opportunity to sample the many food and drink delights from across the Orient. I remember trying bubble tea and thinking that I am drinking and eating at the same time! Coming back to the UK it was difficult to find bubble tea anywhere so one day I booked my ticket to the home of bubble tea - Taiwan. There I found a bubble tea master who taunt me how to make my own bubble tea. After learning how and what made a good bubble tea I began to realise that bubble tea in the UK was not only limited but also some of the ingredients being used did not seem right. You have to use Taiwanese ingredients to make Taiwanese bubble tea! I wanted to create bubble tea home kits so everyone can make their own bubble tea at home, but without the need to fly to Taiwan and train under a bubble tea master. It was important to use the right ingredients but also to have simple and easy to follow instructions so a beginner can easily open the box and not just make their own bubble tea but be really pleased with their results. I have been providing bubble tea home kits for over 5 years so I know my product works. I believe my kits will make excellent bubble tea, as good as you will find in any bubble tea shop, if not better. In this kit there are 5 flavours (6 individual packs); 2 Ice coffee, 1 Magic Mocha, 1 Whiskey Latte, 1 Tiramisu Coffee and 1 Hazelnut Latte, and 3 flavours of toppings; Coffee popping boba bubbles, Chocolate popping boba bubbles and Coffee Jelly. It is up to you which flavour drink you make and which flavour of toppings to go with it. Please follow these simple instructions to enjoy your perfect bubble tea at home experience. Making the drink. Each pouch contains the required amount of powder for one drink. What you will need: Hot boiling water Ice cubes Medium size cup or mug 500ml cocktail shaker if you have one, if not don't worry Large serving cup - approx. 500ml Step 1. Place 1 Assam Black Tea tea bag into a medium sized cup or mug and add approximately 300ml of boiling hot water. Let stand for 5 minutes to allow the flavour to brew and then remove the tea bag. Step 2. Put one portion of powder into the 500ml cocktail shaker. Add approximately 100ml of the hot brewed tea to the powder and stir well ensuring all the powder has dissolved. Step 3. Fill the 500ml cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Step 4. Add the remaining brewed tea over the ice, pop on the cocktail shaker lid and shake well for about 15 seconds to ensure the drink is mixed and fully chilled. TIP : Take care when shaking HOT tea over ICE and hold the lid firmly on to the shaker. Step 5. Put 1 portion (half a pouch) of the popping bubbles or jelly into your serving cup and add the mixed drink to fill. Now use your chunky straw to enjoy your perfectly home made bubble tea! If you do not have a cocktail shaker simply mix the drink in a large cup and stir well to mix. Storage and usage For best results use within 2 months from time of delivery. Popping bubbles and Jelly store in fridge, once pouch opened use within 7 days, remaining of the kit store in cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
