There are two call-blocking modes: announce and answer phone. In Announce mode, any caller not on your contact list or already blocked will have to announce their name before getting through so you can choose whether to accept or reject the call. In answer phone mode, all calls not in your contacts or allowed list are sent straight to your answer machine. You can also block numbers by area code, so any call beginning with the code you enter will be blocked. It can save up to 200 contacts and have the option to block or unblock a contact at any time. Outgoing call control lets you set a PIN to protect calls to mobile and premium rate numbers to prevent any surprises on your bill, useful if you have children or elderly relatives who may unknowingly dial numbers they don't need to. It saves up to 30 minutes of messages and shows how many messages you've received clearly on the screen. Also, don't miss important calls when away from home with remote access to your messages.
